Clove is back with another Motorola presale. This time, the white Motorola RAZR is being offered up. It's the same 4.3 inch qHD device with Android 2.3 and a dual-core processor, but it now has a white bezel. Not necessarily the most significant paint job we've seen but it's a paint job nonetheless. First stock will be here mid-late February and it will come with free MOTOROKR EQ3 folding speakers, worth £20. The phone itself will be £430.80 including VAT.

Oracle Assumes Google Makes $10 Million Per Day on Android Activations Alone

0 yorum
Oracle is still trying to make a case against Google for copyright infringement. As they prepare for their next hearing, they have come up with some figures showing what they believe Google makes on average from daily Android activations. According to them, Google's seeing at least $10 million each day. The number is likely derived from the $14 per Android user Google makes from mobile advertisement coupled with the daily Android activation figures which have reached 700,000 in recent months.

Oracle themselves didn't say what they used to come up with the figure. They seek a tremendous amount of damages from Google. At one point they argued that they deserved around two billion dollars from Google but a judge suggested that they were grossly overestimating the amount owed and advised them to start in the hundreds of millions range. It'll be interesting to see if they can back these claims up with adequate accuracy.

Boasting a silky 4.3 inch HD screen, the Xperia S employs Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine, which uses some of the company’s tech more usually seen in their HDTVs to deliver a smooth, noise-free image onscreen.

Powered by a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, the phone opts for the Android 2.3 Gingerbread version of Google’s OS, rather than the newer Ice Cream Sandwich offering, though an over-the-air upgrade is expected in Q2.

An impressive 12 MP camera sits on the phone’s rear, using Sony’s Exmor R technology for better performance in low lighting. A quick boot up and shutter means a snap can be taken just 1.5 seconds after being on standby, while a 1.3MP camera for video calling sits on the front.

Sony Xperia S Android phone From CESPlayStation certified for access to Sony’s catalogue of retro PSOne games, owners will also have access to the Sony Entertainment Network, offering films and tunes from Sony’s Music Unlimited and Movies Unlimited apps.
